City Lights 8th Anniversary and Tribute to Ken Wannberg

About the Event

After two years without an Anniversary Celebration, 2022 is set—and everyone is invited on Thursday, August 11th.

This year we are celebrating the legacy of our dear friend, Ken Wannberg. Ken’s long and distinguished career as a music editor and composer is hard to fathom: over fifty years working with the most exalted professionals in the film business.

To highlight his work with John and Steven Spielberg, we’ll feature Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, with three screenings at 12:30 PM, 3:30 PM, and 7:10 PM.

We’ll also feature The Late Show, a mystery/comedy/thriller with Art Carney and Lily Tomlin, with a score composed by Ken Wannberg, at 7 PM. We’ll be toasting Ken’s career and life prior to starting the film.

Ken’s good friend Denny Weaver will be playing from 6-7 PM in the lobby, and popcorn and drinks are on us.
Tickets for members are free, however tickets must be ordered in the theater lobby.
